Poonch, February 14: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Poonch, today commenced a five-day training program on Toy-Based Pedagogy for primary school teachers, aimed at strengthening foundational learning in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Over 80 teachers from 11 zones are participating.
Master Trainers Darshan Kumar and Harish Kumar conducted sessions on play-based learning techniques to enhance fine motor skills and classroom engagement. Head of Department Imtiaz Bandey and Course Coordinator Altaf Hussain emphasized the importance of such training for holistic development and experiential learning.
