Thane, May 11 – The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has issued an appeal to all property owners under its jurisdiction to complete the mandatory 'Know Your Customer' (KYC) process to ensure seamless access to municipal services and timely notifications.NMMC spokesperson Mahendra Konde emphasized that the initiative aims to improve communication between the civic body and residents. By completing the KYC process, property owners will be able to receive critical updates such as water supply notifications, heavy rainfall warnings, emergency alerts, and traffic advisories directly on their mobile phones.
In addition, residents will be able to conveniently view and pay their property tax bills through their mobile devices.
"Citizens can complete the KYC process by visiting the NMMC's official website at https://www.nmmc.gov.in and either scanning the QR code or clicking the appropriate link provided on the site," Konde said.
The civic body is aiming to enhance its digital infrastructure and improve service delivery through proactive engagement with residents.
