
February 13, New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Seva Teerth and Kartavya Bhawan-1 and 2, and on the occasion, released a commemorative postage stamp and coin. The administrative buildings reflect the Prime Minister's vision for a modern, efficient, accessible, and citizen-centric governance system.
The Seva Teerth complex will serve as the new address for the Prime Minister's Office, the National Security Council Secretariat, and the Cabinet Secretariat. Kartavya Bhawan-1 and 2 will house several key ministries, including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, among others.
PM Modi dedicated the Seva Teerth and Kartavya Bhawan to the people of India, emphasizing that the buildings are meant to fulfill the aspirations of the nation's citizens. He described the "Developed India 2047" vision as India's pledge and highlighted that the government's spirit of service has helped millions rise out of poverty.
