Hamirpur (HP), March 3: A tragic incident unfolded at the prestigious National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, after a final-year student allegedly died by suicide on Sunday evening.
The deceased, identified as Ayansh Sharma from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, was pursuing a dual-degree programme at NIT Hamirpur. According to police, Ayansh was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his hostel room.
