Factory Owner Among Victims; Residential Area Evacuated
Beawar, Rajasthan – April 1:A tragic nitrogen gas leak at a chemical factory in the Badiya area of Beawar district claimed three lives and left several others hospitalised late Monday night, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred when a nitrogen gas tanker reportedly leaked while stationed at the factory, spreading toxic fumes through the surrounding residential area.
Victims Identified
Superintendent of Police Shyam Singh confirmed the death of Sunil Singhal, 47, the owner of the factory, on Monday night. A senior district official revealed that the chemical facility was operating within a densely populated residential area, prompting emergency evacuations.
