Police Recover Looted Mobiles, Motorcycles, and Illegal Weapons from Suspects
Noida Police successfully apprehended three notorious robbers following an encounter on Friday morning near Kalindi Kunj. Police reportedly recovered several mobile phones, motorcycles, and illegal weapons, all allegedly stolen from various locations in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone I), Rambadan Singh, informed that the arrest occurred during a routine vehicle-checking operation conducted by the Sector 126 police station. Officers had placed barricades near Kalindi Kunj and spotted three individuals riding two motorcycles under suspicious circumstances. When police signaled the riders to halt, the suspects attempted to flee the scene.
The situation escalated as the police pursued and surrounded the suspects, who reportedly opened fire at the officers. In response, police retaliated, injuring all three suspects. The accused were identified as Irshad (21), Naseem (22), and Sumit (21), all residents of Shastri Park in Delhi.
During interrogation, the arrested individuals confessed to committing multiple robberies across the NCR. Further investigations into their criminal activities are underway.
