Srinagar, May 14 — Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma met with Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday to discuss the current security landscape in the Union Territory.
The meeting took place at the Raj Bhavan, where Lt Gen Sharma, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GoC-in-C) of the Northern Command, provided a detailed briefing to the Lieutenant Governor. According to an official spokesperson, the discussion focused on recent developments and various aspects of the prevailing security situation in the Kashmir Valley.
Lt Gen Sharma was accompanied by Lt Gen Prashant Srivastava, the General Officer Commanding (GoC) of the 15 Corps, during the high-level interaction.
The engagement underscores ongoing coordination between the armed forces and the civil administration to ensure stability and security across the region.
