The Thymmei Baiar Cluster Level Federation Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Umsning Cluster, in collaboration with the Office of the Block Medical Officer, Umsning C&RD Block, organized a Nutrition Mela & Health Camp at the Umsning Town Dorbar Hall today.
The Nutrition Mela & Health Camp was formally inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of Ri Bhoi, Abhilash Baranwal, along with Bah R. Kynta, COO of Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society, Bah Andrew Myrthong, BDO of Umsning C&RD Block, Bah Rocky Kylla, Chairman of Umsning Town Dorbar, along with office bearers of the Thymmei Baiar Cluster Level Federation Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society and other dignitaries.
It was announced that the Nutrition Mela & Health Camp will be held over two days—starting today and concluding tomorrow, February 17. The primary objective of organizing the event is to provide essential healthcare services, including medical check-ups, treatment for various ailments, and other related services, while also raising awareness among the community about the importance of health and well-being.
