Precision Strikes on Pakistani Airbases Showcase India's Tactical and Technological Prowess
Panaji, May 11 – BJP Goa president Damodar Naik on Sunday hailed ‘Operation Sindoor’ as a defining moment in South Asian military strategy, asserting that the targeted Indian strikes on Pakistani airbases had redefined the regional rules of engagement. In a strongly worded statement, Naik emphasized that the May 7 operation marked a decisive escalation in India's defense posture, showcasing its ability to launch preemptive and precision strikes with devastating impact.
“Operation Sindoor has dismantled Pakistan’s ability to maintain air superiority, coordinate its national defence, and mount any meaningful counter-response,” Naik said.
He described the Indian strikes as “structural demolitions” that went beyond the battlefield, delivering psychological and strategic blows to the Pakistani military establishment. “The destruction of radar networks, command hubs, and strike platforms left the Pakistan Air Force blind, grounded, and disoriented,” he added.
Heavy Losses Inflicted on Terror Infrastructure
According to Naik, the operation not only inflicted damage on Pakistan’s military infrastructure but also eliminated over 100 terrorists, including high-value targets such as Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf, and Mudasir Ahmed. The Indian military confirmed the toll, stating that the precision strikes were in direct retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, in which 25 tourists and a local guide lost their lives.
A Clear Message of Deterrence
Naik underscored that the operation sent an unambiguous message: "India now holds the initiative, and the cost of provocation will be catastrophic." He credited the strikes with demonstrating India's technological superiority and ability to execute decisive military action.“More than just battlefield wins, these were strategic signals to deter any future aggression,” Naik concluded, asserting that the operation had reshaped the region's military landscape in India's favour.
