Precision Strikes Eliminate Key Operatives and Dozens of Pakistan Army Personnel

New Delhi, May 11 – In a major counter-terrorism offensive, the Indian military announced on Sunday that over 100 terrorists were neutralized during Operation Sindoor carried out on May 7. The operation also targeted and eliminated several high-value individuals, including Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf, and Mudasir Ahmed.

According to Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, the operation was the result of extensive intelligence gathering and strategic planning. "Nine terror targets were identified after careful deliberations and they were hit using precision weapons," Lt Gen Ghai stated during a media briefing.

The DGMO further disclosed that the Pakistan Army suffered significant casualties during the military exchanges that followed. Between May 7 and May 10, it is estimated that 35 to 40 Pakistani soldiers were killed in the ensuing offensives.

The Indian military's announcement marks a significant development in its ongoing efforts to dismantle cross-border terror infrastructure and deliver decisive blows to networks operating from across the Line of Control.
