Mangaluru, May 12 — In a major crackdown on traffic violations, the Dakshina Kannada police penalised 504 vehicle owners for using illegal sun control films and tinted glasses during a special enforcement drive on Sunday. The operation resulted in fines totaling ₹2.53 lakh.According to an official police statement, the drive was conducted across the jurisdiction of 10 traffic police stations in the district.
