Hyderabad MP Urges Unity and Support for Indian Armed Forces Amid Military Conflict

Hyderabad, May 10 — All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has called for the global community to push for the disarmament of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal, stating that the country poses a serious threat to international peace and stability.

Speaking at an event in Hyderabad on Saturday, Owaisi expressed grave concern over Pakistan's actions during the ongoing military conflict with India. "We need to very strongly stand against a country which is a danger to the whole world. At some point or other, the world leaders have to decide if this country should even be allowed to have nuclear bombs. Their nuclear bombs need to be disarmed," he said.

Security Threats and Support for Soldiers

Owaisi highlighted recent incidents that he said illustrated the seriousness of the threat, including drone activity near Srinagar airport and targeted attacks on hospitals. "We don't have an idea how bravely our soldiers are confronting them. We want to tell them, we don't want to fight, but if somebody wants, we have to," he asserted.

He called upon all Indians to rise above political affiliations and unite in support of the armed forces. "This is a time to stand together as one nation," Owaisi emphasized.

Criticism of IMF Loan to Pakistan

Taking a strong stance on global financial support to Pakistan, Owaisi criticized the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for approving a USD 1 billion loan to the country. "They (Pakistan) are beggars... This is not the International Monetary Fund, they are giving the International Militant Fund to Pakistan. How did the USA, Germany, and Japan agree to this?" he questioned.

He alleged that despite repeated attacks on Indian territory and security forces, Pakistan continues to receive international aid.

Accusations of Misgovernance and Religious Manipulation

Owaisi also accused Pakistan of using religion as a political tool to destabilize India. "Pakistan has failed in governance and economic management. They are misusing Islam to create discord between Hindus and Muslims," he claimed.

Referring to terror incidents, Owaisi added, "Attack happened in Bahawalpur and Muridke, the one who is a terrorist in America, Pakistan Army is standing behind him."

As tensions between India and Pakistan continue to escalate, Owaisi's remarks reflect growing domestic pressure on the international community to review its engagement with Islamabad, especially in matters of security and financial aid.
