OYO Adds 3,500 Corporate Clients in FY25, Business Travel Sees Strong Rebound

OYO Business Accelerator Posts 20% YoY Growth, Now Serves 6,500+ Corporate Clients

New Delhi, May 16—Global travel technology platform OYO has reported a significant uptick in its corporate travel business for FY25, with its Business Accelerator division onboarding 3,500 new corporate clients. This reflects robust 20% year-on-year growth and signals a steady resurgence of business travel in India post-pandemic.

With this addition, OYO’s corporate client network has surpassed 6,500 organizations, underscoring the growing reliance of companies across the country on flexible and tech-enabled accommodation solutions.

Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Pune Lead Regional Expansion

Among the cities contributing to this expansion, Mumbai emerged as the strongest performer, securing over 700 new corporate clients. Hyderabad followed with 400, and Pune added 350 clients to the portfolio. Other key metro hubs such as Chennai and Bengaluru also contributed substantially to the surge in business travel partnerships.

Rise in Long-Term and Event-Based Stays

The company highlighted an increase in long-term and event-specific stays, which have become increasingly popular among corporate clients. This trend reflects a broader shift in the way companies manage business travel, emphasizing flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

Diverse Client Base Fuels Growth

Manish Kashyap, Head of OYO Business Accelerator, noted that the division's growth is not limited to large corporations. "The growth has been driven not just by large corporations but also by a diverse mix of small and medium enterprises, traditional business houses, startups, travel management companies, and even film production houses," he said.

India Now 4th Largest Business Travel Market in APAC

According to the latest Business Travel Index (BTI) by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), India has become the fourth-largest business travel market in the Asia-Pacific region. The resurgence is attributed to a strong domestic economy and a marked rise in demand for in-person meetings.

The growth of SMEs in India is also crucial in boosting regional business travel demand, contributing to OYO’s expanding corporate customer base.

With a renewed focus on business travel and a diversified client ecosystem, OYO’s business travel segment is well-positioned for continued growth in the coming fiscal year.
