AIMIM Chief to Highlight Longstanding Pakistan-Sponsored Terrorism in Global Outreach

Hyderabad, May 17 – All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday stated that Pakistan, with its longstanding history of sponsoring terrorism, has emerged as a threat to humanity. The Hyderabad MP made the remarks before participating in an all-party delegation being dispatched by the Indian government to various world capitals.

Speaking in an interview, Owaisi emphasized that his core message to the international community would focus on the brutal reality of terrorism orchestrated by Pakistan. “India has been a big victim of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. We have all witnessed the slaughter of innocents since the era of Zia-ul-Haq,” he said.

While Owaisi acknowledged he has not been formally briefed on the details of the diplomatic initiative, he stressed the campaign's urgency. The initiative aims to expose Pakistan’s role in cross-border terrorism and its impact on India’s security and stability.

"Pakistan Projects Itself Falsely as an Islamic State," Says Owaisi

Challenging Pakistan's self-image, Owaisi stated that the country falsely positions itself as the sole representative of Islam in its confrontational stance against India. “This is nonsense. Nearly 20 crore Muslims live in India. This, too, must be conveyed to the world,” he asserted.

He accused Pakistan’s “deep state” and military establishment of perpetuating an ideology that seeks to destabilize India by fueling communal divisions and obstructing the nation's economic progress.

“Terrorism a Continuation of Pakistan’s 1947 Agenda,” Owaisi Claims

Owaisi linked current terrorist threats to Pakistan’s early post-independence actions, including sending tribal invaders into Jammu and Kashmir in 1947. “They have been doing this tamasha since then. They will continue tomorrow. But India's patience ran out with the Pahalgam terror attack,” he said.

Concluding his remarks, the AIMIM chief said that by arming, training, and financing terrorists, Pakistan has endangered global peace and humanity at large. His participation in the international delegation will focus on conveying this message unequivocally.
