Colombo, February 15 Pakistan won the toss and chose to field against India in a high-pressure T20 World Cup match here on Sunday.
India made two changes to their playing XI, bringing in Abhishek Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav in place of Sanju Samson and Arshdeep Singh respectively.
Pakistan named an unchanged team.
"The pitch looks a bit tricky, so we feel it will help the bowlers in the first few overs, and we want to take advantage of that. We are confident in our group and excited for this challenge. The ground is bigger than SSC, and the pitch is slower than SSC," said Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha.
India captain Suryakumar Yadav said they were looking to bat first.
"We have won our last two games by defending, so we don't want to change that. This is a big game, and any team can win on any given day," said Suryakumar.
