Colombo, February 13 Abhishek Sharma's participation in India's match against Pakistan here depends on his recovery from a stomach ailment, but the aggressive opener arrived here on Friday with the team, raising hopes of his return at the Premadasa Stadium on Sunday.
Abhishek had missed India's match against Namibia in New Delhi on Thursday despite being discharged from a private hospital in the national capital. India will have a net session in the evening here on Saturday, and Abhishek's fitness will be closely monitored before a final decision is made.

Meanwhile, the parents of the Indian opener also arrived in Colombo ahead of the match against Pakistan. Rajkumar Sharma has been a constant source of support for Abhishek, and he coached the left-handed batter from childhood. The parents were also present in Dubai during the Asia Cup.
If Abhishek remains unavailable, India can either stick with Sanju Samson or bring back Washington Sundar to pair with Ishan Kishan at the top.
