New Delhi, May 18 — Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially confirmed that he will not be a part of the much-anticipated comedy sequel Hera Pheri 3. In a statement shared on his social media platform X, Rawal clarified that his departure from the project had no connection to creative disagreements.

The 69-year-old actor, widely loved for his portrayal of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in the first two films of the franchise, sought to address speculation regarding his decision. “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences,” Rawal stated.

Emphasizing his regard for the film’s director, he added, “I reiterate that there is no creative disagreement with the filmmaker. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan, the film director.”

Rawal starred alongside Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty in Hera Pheri (2000) and Phir Hera Pheri (2006), with the latter directed by Neeraj Vora. The third installment sees the return of Priyadarshan to the director’s chair, who helmed the original film.

Despite Rawal’s exit, excitement around Hera Pheri 3 remains high as fans await the revival of the beloved franchise.
