In Dhaka, outgoing law advisor Asif Nazrul stated that the oath-taking ceremony for newly elected Members of Parliament will take place at 10:00 am on Tuesday, most likely administered by AMM Nasir Uddin. The parliamentary party is expected to elect its leader around late morning, after which a formal claim to form the government will be made.
He added that the new cabinet will be sworn in at 4:00 pm at the South Plaza of Parliament, with Mohammed Shahabuddin administering the oath.
Nazrul said that the interim government held its farewell meeting earlier in the day, where members exchanged experiences and were briefed on the ceremony, while the Cabinet Division was handling the invitation protocols.
