New Delhi, February 13 Domestic sales of passenger vehicles from manufacturers to dealers increased by 13% year-on-year to 449,616 units in January, according to SIAM, the industry body, on Friday.
Sales in January 2025 were at 399,386 units.
Two-wheeler sales rose by 26% to 19,25,603 units last month, compared to 15,26,218 units in January last year, SIAM said in a statement.
Sales of three-wheelers to dealers increased by 30% year-on-year to 75,725 units, compared to 58,167 units in the previous year, it added.
