New Delhi, February 13 Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals reported a 29.5 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 86 crore for the third quarter ended December 2025, on Friday.
The company earned a net profit of Rs 66 crore in the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Its revenue increased to Rs 1,160 crore for the period under review, compared to Rs 1,010 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement.
Adjusted EBITDA increased by 21 per cent year-on-year to Rs 147 crore, driven by better capacity utilization and the steady expansion of new facilities, which led to margin improvements, it stated.
"Tighter control over overhead costs and portfolio rationalization also helped mitigate losses in the API and trade generics segment," it added.
On Friday, the company's shares closed 2.95 per cent lower at Rs 450.65 per share on the BSE.
