New Delhi, Feb 2 (PTI) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lauded the Indian women's U-19 cricket team for their spectacular triumph in the ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025, calling it a testament to teamwork, determination, and grit.

India clinched their second consecutive title in a dominant fashion, securing a nine-wicket victory over South Africa in Kuala Lumpur. The commanding performance underscored the team's rising prowess on the global stage.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi expressed his pride, stating, "Immensely proud of our Nari Shakti! Congratulations to the Indian team for emerging victorious in the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025."
