New Delhi, Feb 28 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver a keynote address at a high-level webinar focused on "Agriculture and Rural Prosperity" on Saturday. Organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, the event aims to discuss and strategize the effective implementation of the 2025 Budget announcements related to the agriculture and rural sectors.
The day-long webinar, beginning at 10 AM, will witness participation from Union ministers, key stakeholders, industry experts, and subject matter specialists. Around seven to eight speakers are expected to present their views on critical areas concerning agricultural growth and rural development.
Prime Minister Modi will virtually deliver his keynote address at 12:30 PM, followed by insights from Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan post-lunch, according to an official statement.
The webinar will focus on fostering collaboration between stakeholders, ensuring the seamless execution of budget provisions aimed at strengthening India's agricultural sector and enhancing rural prosperity. It will also facilitate structured discussions in sub-theme-focused sessions, bringing together representatives from the private sector, industry, and academia.
By aligning multiple stakeholders, the initiative seeks to streamline efforts, gather insights, and ensure timely actionto achieve the budget's vision for agricultural and rural development, the statement added.
