
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet French President Emmanuel Macron in Mumbai on Tuesday, where the two leaders are set to review the progress of the India-France strategic partnership and chart the course for deeper cooperation.
The meeting is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties and expanding collaboration into new and emerging areas. Both leaders will also exchange views on key regional and global developments during their engagements.
Bilateral Summit in Mumbai on February 17
According to an official statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Mumbai on February 17 to meet President Macron.Around 3:15 PM on February 17, the two leaders will hold bilateral engagements at Lok Bhavan in Mumbai. The discussions will review the progress made under the India-France strategic partnership and explore opportunities to further diversify cooperation.
President Macron will be on an official visit to India from February 17 to 19 at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi.
Participation in AI Impact Summit
During his visit, President Macron will participate in the AI Impact Summit hosted by India. In addition to the summit, he will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Modi in Mumbai.Later in the day, around 5:15 PM on February 17, the two leaders will jointly inaugurate the India-France Year of Innovation 2026. They are also scheduled to address a gathering of business leaders, start-ups, researchers, and innovators from both countries.
