Modi’s Two-Day State Visit Begins March 11
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day state visit to Mauritius starting March 11. He has been invited by Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam to attend the country's National Day celebrations as the chief guest.
The announcement was made by India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday, highlighting the significance of Modi's visit in strengthening the bilateral relationship between India and Mauritius.
Indian Defence Forces to Participate
Further enhancing the diplomatic ties between the two nations, a contingent of the Indian defence forces will also take part in the national celebrations, according to the MEA. This participation underscores the robust defence cooperation shared between India and Mauritius.
The upcoming visit of PM Modi highlights the continued collaboration and strategic partnership between the two countries, marking another milestone in their historical and cultural connections.
