
Doda, February 14: Police have intensified anti-terror measures in the Doda district by putting up posters of active militants at key locations to solicit public cooperation. The posters feature a commander of the banned outfit, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and have been displayed at prominent public places throughout the district.
Separately, security forces raided a militant hideout in the Chilli forest area of Gandoh and recovered food and blankets, indicating recent activity. Search operations have been intensified in the surrounding forest areas.
Superintendent of Police, Doda, Sandeep Mehta, stated that the initiative aims to dismantle terror networks and strengthen public participation. He urged citizens to share any credible information with the police, assuring complete confidentiality and protection for informants.
