POONCH, February 15: Mahashivratri was celebrated with great devotion and spiritual fervor across the Poonch district, with thousands of devotees flocking to the revered Shiv Khori Temple to offer prayers.
Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma paid his respects at the shrine and prayed for peace, prosperity, and communal harmony. He was joined by Brigade Commander Sachindra Joshi, SSP Shafket Hussain Bhat, and other officers from the administration, Army, and Police, who participated in the havan and special prayers.
The Deputy Commissioner extended Mahashivratri greetings to the devotees, stating that such sacred occasions strengthen brotherhood, harmony, and the region's composite culture.
