President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan paid their respects to Swami Dayanand Saraswati on the occasion of his birth anniversary. In a social media post, President Droupadi Murmu stated that Swami Dayanand Saraswati provided invaluable guidance not only to the entire society but also to the country's education system. She emphasized that the country has and will continue to benefit from the spiritual and educational institutions established by him. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan said that Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati dedicated his entire life to fighting against superstition, ostentation, and social evils. He added that his efforts in promoting education, empowering women, and preserving Indian culture provided the nation with a new ideological direction and a sense of self-respect. Mr. Radhakrishnan further stated that contributions to establishing a classless, caste-free, and egalitarian society, as well as promoting high moral values, continue to inspire everyone today.
