Chandigarh, February 14 The Punjab Police announced on Saturday that they had busted a drug and arms smuggling module with the arrest of four individuals and the recovery of over 22 kg of heroin, along with weapons and ammunition, in the Ferozepur district.
DGP Gaurav Yadav stated that the police recovered 22.295 kg of heroin, two Glock pistols, magazines, and cartridges, a car, and ₹2.05 lakh in cash.
An FIR has been registered, and an investigation is underway to establish the connections between the individuals involved, Yadav said in a post on X.
