Patna, Feb 3 (PTI) – Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to visit Patna on Wednesday, February 5, to participate in the birth anniversary celebration of freedom fighter and Dalit icon Jaglal Choudhary. The event will take place at Shri Krishna Memorial Hall in the state capital.

This marks Gandhi's second visit to Bihar in less than a month, highlighting his continued engagement with the state’s political and social landscape.

Confirming the visit, Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) president Akhilesh Prasad Singh took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, stating, "Respected leader of the opposition Shri Rahul Gandhi ji will attend the birth anniversary of Shri Jaglal Choudhary, at Shri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna, on February 5."

During his last visit to Patna on January 18, Gandhi had addressed the Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan and later met party workers at Sadaqat Ashram, the BPCC headquarters. He also interacted with candidates protesting against alleged irregularities in a recent BPSC exam and caught up with RJD chief Lalu Prasad over a quick meal, strengthening ties with the Congress’ long-time ally.

Gandhi’s frequent visits to Bihar come amid growing political activities in the state, as parties gear up for upcoming electoral battles.
