Taking to social media platform X, Sharma extended his thanks to the Central government, emphasizing that the significant budget allocation underscores the commitment to enhancing rail infrastructure in the state.
The Chief Minister pointed out the stark contrast in railway funding compared to the previous government’s tenure from 2009 to 2014, when Rajasthan received an average annual allocation of only ₹682 crore. "In comparison, the present government has allocated 14.5 times more funds, reaffirming its dedication to the state's railway infrastructure development," he stated.
The substantial financial boost is expected to enhance rail connectivity, modernize infrastructure, and support economic growth in Rajasthan.
