Jaipur, Feb 2 (PTI) – Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to empowering the youth and ensuring their active participation in the state’s development.
Flagging off the 16th Jaipur Marathon, Sharma highlighted the determination and hard work of young individuals, underscoring their crucial role in Rajasthan’s progress. “The youth are the driving force behind our vision to make Rajasthan the leading state in the country. Their contributions are instrumental in the growth of both the state and the nation,” he said.
The chief minister also emphasized Rajasthan’s vast development potential, citing advancements across key sectors such as education, healthcare, minerals, and tourism.
In a major announcement, Sharma revealed that Rajasthan will host the Khelo India Games next year, reinforcing the government's focus on fostering sports and youth engagement. He further disclosed plans to establish Maharana Pratap Sports University and divisional-level sports colleges to nurture emerging sports talent across the state.
The Jaipur Marathon, an annual event celebrating fitness and perseverance, saw enthusiastic participation from runners across various age groups.
