Jaipur, March 2 — On Sunday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, accompanied by his family members, visited the historic Tripura Sundari temple in Banswara. The CM offered prayers at the revered Shaktipeeth, located in Umrai village, approximately 14 kilometers from Banswara city.

Upon arrival, the Chief Minister was greeted by temple officials and local BJP leaders. Head priest Nikunj Mohan Pandya led the religious rituals, assisted by priests Ganesh Sharma and Lokesh Panchal, as they performed the traditional ceremonies before the idol of Goddess Tripura Sundari in the temple's sanctum sanctorum.

Jagesh Panchal, the temple manager, confirmed the visit, noting that the Chief Minister and his entourage, which included several BJP leaders, paid their respects to the Goddess.

Given the significance of the temple, which has long been a center for devotees seeking 'Shakti,' tight security measures were implemented to ensure a smooth and secure visit. The Tripura Sundari temple, dating back to the third century, continues to attract visitors from across the region, with many politicians regularly making pilgrimages to this sacred site.

This temple remains a symbol of spiritual importance, drawing thousands of devotees who revere it as one of the prominent Shaktipeeths in India.
