
New Delhi, February 16 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed his condolences for the deaths of factory workers in a fire accident at a chemical factory in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The fire incident in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, is a tragic and deeply saddening event, according to the Prime Minister's Office on X, quoting Modi.
"My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured," the prime minister said.
Seven workers were killed when a fire broke out at a chemical factory in the Khushkhera-Karoli industrial area of Bhiwadi on Monday. Two workers remain trapped inside the facility.
Additional District Magistrate Sumita Mishra said that the police came to know about the incident during a routine patrol, following which a rescue operation was immediately launched.
