Jaipur, March 1 – Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa on Saturday reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to integrating Ayurveda with modern medical science. Speaking at the inauguration of the four-day state-level 'Aarogya Mela-2025', Bairwa highlighted Ayurveda’s deep-rooted significance in Indian culture, tracing its origins back to ancient sage Charak.
Bairwa emphasized that Ayurveda is not just a system of treating diseases but a holistic approach to health and wellness. He remarked, "Ayurveda begins where modern medicine ends," underlining its role in preventive healthcare and natural healing.
The event showcased Rajasthan’s growing reputation as a key hub for Ayurveda and natural medicine, particularly in the export of medicinal plants. "Rajasthan is not only known for its valour but also as the birthplace of health and wellness," Bairwa stated.
The Aarogya Mela-2025 serves as a platform for the public to receive free consultations and information on Ayurveda and other traditional medical systems. The Deputy CM visited various stalls displaying Ayurvedic products, traditional treatments, and medicinal plants, reinforcing the state's push for alternative medicine.
