Rajasthan Receives Light to Moderate Rainfall; Churu Records Highest at 28 mm

Jaipur, March 1: Several parts of Rajasthan experienced light to moderate rainfall on Saturday, with Churu registering the highest rainfall at 28 mm, the weather department reported.

Chirawa, located in Jhunjhunu district, received the second-highest rainfall of 18 mm. Other areas in Jhunjhunu also experienced noticeable precipitation, including Malsisar with 14 mm and Buhana with 13 mm.

In Alwar district, Tijara received 10 mm of rainfall, while Kotkasim recorded 7 mm. Churu district witnessed additional rainfall in Taranagar (10 mm) and Rajgarh (8 mm). Pilani recorded 9 mm rainfall, as per the weather department data collected till Saturday morning.

The Meteorological Department has forecast dry weather conditions across the state beginning Sunday.
