RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 12: Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma chaired a meeting to review preparations for the holy month of Ramadan in the district.
He directed departments to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply, proper sanitation in high-traffic areas, and adequate street lighting around markets and mosques. The Legal Metrology and market teams were instructed to conduct regular inspections to prevent overcharging and hoarding of essential commodities.
The DC also emphasised effective traffic and parking management during peak hours, particularly during Iftar and late-night prayers. SSP Gaurav Sikarwar assured full police support to maintain peace.
The meeting was attended by senior district officers, including ADC Rajouri Chander Prakash and other concerned officials.
