Ram Temple in Ayodhya Extends Visiting Hours; Opens at 6 AM

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya has announced an extension of its visiting hours, welcoming devotees an hour earlier from Monday, March 4. Under the revised schedule, the temple doors now open at 6:00 AM, compared to the previous opening time of 7:00 AM.

According to the temple trust’s media centre, the updated timings have also affected the schedule of daily aartis. Devotees will now be permitted entry into the temple complex starting at 6:30 AM, shortly after the Shringar Aarti concludes. Morning visiting hours will continue until 11:50 AM, after which the temple premises will temporarily close at noon for the Raj Bhog Aarti.

Visiting hours will resume in the afternoon from 1:00 PM until 6:50 PM. Subsequently, devotees can participate in the Sandhya Aarti at 7:00 PM. Post Sandhya Aarti, the temple will remain open to visitors until 9:45 PM.

The temple gates will finally close at 10:00 PM following the Shayan Aarti.

This change aims to accommodate more devotees, allowing them additional time to seek blessings at one of India's most revered pilgrimage sites.
