RAMBAN, February 15: Maha Shivratri was celebrated with great religious fervor across the Ramban district, with devotees visiting temples from early morning.

A grand procession, organized by the Maha Shivratri Celebration Committee of Ramban, began from the Pracheen Shiv Mandir in Maitra and passed through the main market areas before culminating at the Raghunath Mandir in Ramban.

The district and police administration ensured elaborate security and smooth arrangements. Langars (community meals) were organized by the Sanatan Dharm Sabha and local residents, offering prasad (sacred food) to the devotees.

The festival saw widespread participation, reflecting unity, harmony, and deep devotion across the district.
