New Delhi, February 9 Ramco Cements Ltd reported a more than two-fold increase in its consolidated net profit year-on-year to Rs 385.63 crore in the December quarter of FY26, driven by improved cement prices and operational efficiencies.
The company posted a net profit of Rs 181.58 crore during the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing by Ramco Cements.
Revenue from operations increased by 6.16 per cent to Rs 2,105.68 crore in the December quarter of FY26. This was up from Rs 1,983.45 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
"During Q3 FY26, cement sales volume was 4.43 million tonnes, compared to 4.28 million tonnes in Q3 FY25, representing a growth of 4 per cent," the company said in its earnings statement.
The construction chemicals business registered a sales volume of 1.54 lakh tonnes for Q3FY26, compared to 0.86 lakh tonnes during Q3FY25, representing a growth of 79 per cent.
"The overall sales volume for this quarter has increased by 5 per cent compared to Q3FY25. Cement capacity utilization for Q3FY26 is at 73 per cent, compared to 75 per cent during Q3FY25," it said.
Furthermore, in Q3FY26, Ramco Cements "earned Rs 506 crore in profit from the sale of land."
The company also reported a loss of Rs 27 crore under the "exceptional item" due to the implementation of new labor codes.
"Accordingly, profit before tax after exceptional items for Q3FY26 is Rs 486 crore," it said.
Total expenses of Ramco Cements in the December quarter increased by 6.38 per cent to Rs 2,118.79 crore.
"Net debt as of December 31, 2025, is Rs 4,145 crore, compared to Rs 4,481 crore as of March 31, 2025. The cost of debt for Q3FY26 is 7.10 per cent, compared to 7.89 per cent in Q3FY25," it said.
Shares of Ramco Cements Ltd closed at Rs 1,203.65 per share on the BSE, up 3.75 per cent from the previous close.
