New Delhi, Mar 2 – Actor Raveena Tandon has expressed her disgust after a video emerged showing a man filming Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif during her holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj during the Maha Kumbh. Tandon criticized the actions, stating that it ruined what should have been a serene and sacred moment for Kaif.

Katrina, who is married to actor Vicky Kaushal, visited the holy city of Prayagraj on February 24, accompanied by her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal. On the same day, Raveena Tandon, along with her daughter Rasha Thadani, attended the evening aarti ceremony in the company of Katrina.

A video, which has since gone viral on social media, shows a man filming Katrina while she is taking the holy dip. In the footage, the man can be heard saying, "Ye main hoon, ye mera bhai hai aur ye Katrina Kaif" ("This is me, this is my brother, and that's Katrina Kaif"), while other men around him laugh, capturing the moment on their phones.

Raveena, disturbed by the invasion of privacy, took to Instagram to comment on the incident, writing: "This is disgusting. These kinds of people spoil a moment that is supposed to be peaceful and meaningful." The post received widespread attention, with many social media users expressing their outrage.

One user commented, "Very bad... Mass bullying," while another remarked, "This is disrespect in so many ways." Many others echoed similar sentiments, calling the incident "embarrassing."

Reports suggest that Katrina, while trying to exit the water after completing the ritual, was mobbed by a crowd, with multiple videos, some reportedly shot from drones, circulating online.

Several other celebrities were also present at the Maha Kumbh, which concluded on February 26, including Vicky Kaushal, Sonali Bendre, Guru Randhawa, Juhi Chawla, Anupam Kher, Preity Zinta, Akshay Kumar, and Rajkummar Rao.
