Religious Structure Vandalised in Jalna’s Kirola Village, Police Launch Investigation

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 1 – A religious structure in Maharashtra's Jalna district was allegedly vandalised by an unidentified individual, prompting swift action and an investigation by local authorities.

The incident occurred on Sunday at the Tara Shahwali Peershah dargah, located in the Kirola area under the jurisdiction of Badnapur police. According to a statement issued by the Jalna police, the perpetrator entered the dargah premises and caused damage to both the structure and its flooring.

Following the incident, the Badnapur police registered a case on the same day against the unidentified person. The case has been filed under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including those related to the desecration of a place of worship and inciting enmity between communities on religious grounds.

Authorities have launched a probe and are working to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for the act.
