
Guwahati, February 14 Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma paid tributes to the 40 CRPF personnel who were killed in the Pulwama attack on this day in 2019.
Sarma said the sacrifices of the soldiers would never be forgotten.
"The sacrifice of our brave soldiers in Pulwama will never be forgotten. We pay tribute to the heroes. Bharat will always remember their martyrdom," Sarma said in a post on X.
A suicide bomber from the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad rammed his car, laden with explosives, into a bus carrying personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on February 14, 2019, in Pulwama, killing 40 soldiers.
Days later, the Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets bombed terrorist training camps in Balakot, deep inside Pakistan.
