
Udhampur, February 14: The 137th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) held a solemn remembrance ceremony at its Udhampur base camp today to mark the anniversary of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack. Officers and personnel paid tribute to the 40 jawans who lost their lives when a convoy was targeted on February 14, 2019.
Led by Commandant Manoj Kumar Sikon, the unit laid wreaths at the memorial and observed a moment of silence in honour of the fallen. He stated that the martyrs' bravery remains an enduring legacy and reaffirmed the CRPF's commitment to remembering their sacrifice, describing the ceremony as a heartfelt tribute to their dedication and heroism.
