New Delhi, Feb 27 – Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma has leased out his apartment in Lower Parel, Mumbai, for a monthly rent of ₹2.60 lakh, real estate platform Square Yards confirmed.
According to Square Yards, the property in Lodha Marquise – The Park was acquired by Rohit Sharma and his father, Gurunath Sharma, in March 2013 for ₹5.46 crore. The luxury apartment spans 1,298 sq ft and includes two car parking spaces. The rental agreement reflects a 6% rental yield, making it a lucrative investment for the cricketer.
Developed by Macrotech Developers Ltd (Lodha Group), the residential project is a premium, ready-to-move-in housing complex spread over seven acres.
This is not the first time Sharma has leased out a property in the same project. In October 2024, he and his father rented another apartment in Lodha Marquise for ₹2.65 lakh per month.
The Mumbai property market continues to be a popular investment choice for high-net-worth individuals, with luxury rentals seeing a steady demand.
