Rs 3,030-Cr Bridge Opens Connecting Guwahati and North Guwahati
Guwahati, February 14 Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a six-lane bridge on the Brahmaputra River in Assam on Saturday.
The Rs 3,030-crore Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu will connect Guwahati with North Guwahati.
It is the first extradosed Pre-stressed Concrete (PSC) bridge in the Northeast.
After the inauguration, Modi walked across the bridge.
Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma were also present at the event.
