RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Begins Four-Day Visit to Arunachal Pradesh Ahead of Centenary Celebrations

Itanagar, Feb 27 – Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday for a four-day visit, as part of his nationwide tour ahead of the organization's 100th anniversary.

During his visit, Bhagwat will engage with RSS functionaries, interact with indigenous faith leaders, and participate in key organizational events. A major highlight of his itinerary is the 'Prant Karyakarta Shivir', a state-level functionaries’ camp scheduled from February 28 to March 2 at Abotani Vidya Niketan in Pachin village, Naharlagun. The camp is expected to host around 900 RSS functionaries from across Arunachal Pradesh.

On Thursday evening, Bhagwat is set to meet approximately 130 indigenous faith leaders representing various tribal communities of the state. The following day, he will address RSS members at Seva Dham in Lekhi village, where group physical training exercises will also take place.

Apart from these engagements, Bhagwat is scheduled to hold discussions with several dignitaries and senior functionaries of ideologically affiliated organizations. His visit to Arunachal Pradesh follows a five-day stay in Guwahati. After concluding his tour on March 2, he will return to Assam for further centenary-related activities.

The RSS, founded in 1925, is set to complete 100 years on Vijaya Dashami this year, with numerous programs planned across the country to mark the milestone.
