DODA, FEBRUARY 16: A "Run for Martyrs" snow marathon was organized from Chinta to Jai Ghati (Bhaderwah) by the 4 Rashtriya Rifles (4 RR) in collaboration with the Doda District Administration and the Bhaderwah Development Authority, to honor soldiers who sacrificed their lives in service to the nation.
The marathon was flagged off by Doda DDC Chairperson Dhananter Singh Kotwal, along with Commanding Officer of 4 RR, Yogesh Chouhan. Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, and other civil and army officials were also present. A cultural program was also held at Jai Ghati.
Speakers paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, including those who lost their lives in a recent accident, and emphasized the importance of unity, patriotism, and cooperation between the civil and military. Certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants for their enthusiastic involvement.
