Joint Operations Target Key Border and Hinterland Areas to Enhance Vigilance
Mendhar, Jammu – April 1, 2025: Security forces on Tuesday launched extensive search operations across five strategic locations in Jammu and Kashmir's sensitive Poonch district, officials confirmed.
These targeted operations are part of reinforced security measures designed to maintain heightened vigilance and ensure peace in the border region, authorities stated.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with units of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), conducted joint search operations aimed at proactively identifying and mitigating security threats.
Key Areas Under Surveillance
The operations specifically covered critical hinterland and border zones, including:
- Behramgalla-Chatran Sailan
- Kala Jhoola
- Nakka Nar Forest in Gursai
- Mastandara Jabri
- Chajala-Seagi in Mankote
These areas were selected due to their strategic importance and proximity to sensitive border regions.
