Chennai, February 16 – The makers of director Sivakumar Murugesan's next film, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, announced on Monday that they had titled the film "Seyon" and released the film's title poster, much to the delight of fans and film enthusiasts.
The film is being produced by RaajKamal Films International and Turmeric Media, both under the banner of Kamal Haasan. The film, which will feature Sivakarthikeyan in a powerful and dynamic new role, will be a grand rural commercial entertainer.
The makers announced that "Seyon" will be the biggest family spectacle of 2026, blending relatable emotions, broad appeal, and wholesome entertainment for audiences of all ages.
Sharing the title poster on his social media accounts, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, "We are coming together again – for a mega celebration! #Seyon #SK26 #OneMoreTime."
The title poster features Sivakarthikeyan seated on what appears to be a stone throne adorned with peacock feathers, with a machete resting on his shoulder. The actor has well-groomed hair and is dressed in a rural attire. He has a well-built physique and is surrounded by peacocks.
The film has generated significant interest as it marks a significant reunion between Sivakarthikeyan and Raaj Kamal Films International. Their collaboration for this film comes after the commercial success of their previous film, "Amaran," which received both critical acclaim and commercial success.
Produced by Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran, the film combines powerful storytelling with a compelling cinematic vision. Director Sivakumar Murugesan will be directing his second film after the highly anticipated upcoming release, "Thaai Kizhavi."
Adding to the excitement, this project will mark the first collaboration between RaajKamal Films International, Sivakarthikeyan, and acclaimed composer Santhosh Narayanan.
The film will be shot by Vivek Vijayakumar and edited by San Lokesh. R K Nagu will be the art director, while Keerthy Sampath and Joshua Maxwell will be the costume designers.
