Bollywood Stars' Warm Reunion at IIFA Awards 2025 Draws Fans' Attention
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor casually brushed off the excitement surrounding his recent stage reunion with actress Kareena Kapoor Khan at the ongoing International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in Jaipur. Speaking to reporters at the IIFA Digital Awards green carpet event on Saturday night, Shahid downplayed the buzz, stating, “It’s nothing new; we keep running into each other here and there.”
Shahid was responding to questions about posing for photographs alongside Kareena, his former co-star and ex-partner, during a press conference marking the 25th edition of the prestigious film awards. The appearance drew immediate attention on social media, with fans celebrating the reunion of their beloved on-screen characters, Aditya and Geet, from the 2007 romantic hit "Jab We Met."
“For us, it's nothing new… aaj stage pe mile aur hum log idhar udhar milte rehte hain (Today we met on the stage, but we keep running into each other here and there), but it's totally normal for us,” Shahid explained, adding lightly, “If people felt nice, it’s nice.”
Photographers also captured Shahid and Kareena sharing a friendly hug and engaging in conversation, further exciting fans.
